CESD 701 Professional Orient. & Ethics

The Professional Orientation and Ethics in Counselor Education and Supervision course provides students with an overview of the Counselor Education and Supervision program and the ethics associated with being a Counselor Educator and Supervisor. Students will examine scholarly evidence of supervision, research, teaching, and leadership effectiveness while creating a new sense of Counselor Educator identity through the incorporation of theories, models, and skills. This course will offer six hours of ethics training on legal and ethical issues and responsibilities in counseling supervision, practice, research, teaching, and leadership.
