CESD 705 Coun. Education Pedagogy

The Counselor Education Pedagogy course provides students with the roles and responsibilities related to educating counselors, teaching methods relevant to counselor education, and curriculum design and instructional delivery. Students will be able to demonstrate assessment of student learning and professional dispositions, the role of mentoring in counselor education, and screening, remediation, and gatekeeping functions relevant to teaching. This course will provide three hours of ethics training in legal and ethical issues and responsibilities in counselor education for all program delivery types.
