CESD 711 Coun.Educ.Intern.*(min.200hrs)

The Counselor Education Internship course provides students the opportunity for hands-on experience working in an educational setting. Students will be required to show competency in teaching methods relevant to counselor education, curriculum design and instructional delivery, instructional and curricular evaluation methods, and assessment of student learning and professional dispositions. Students will attend to universal design to meet the needs of all students with respect for individual differences in learning and screening, remediation, and gatekeeping functions relevant to teaching.
