The Current Issues in Higher Education for Counselor Educators and Supervisors course provides students with current issues in the profession of counseling, supervision, and education. Students will draw on previous class experiences to identify issues that help the current profession to grow and issues that are causing the profession to stagnate. Current trends on counselor education and supervision will be coupled with empirical evidence through peer-reviewed journals to ensure accuracy of issue remediation through the lens of the American Counseling Association’s current Code of Ethics.
