NURS 647 Adv. Pathophysiology

Focuses on the biological basis for altered function and disease at the cellular level across the lifespan. Students learn to differentiate between normal variations and pathology with emphasis given to recognizing changes in patient status and interpreting physiological data. This in-depth knowledge will become the foundation for clinical reasoning and clinical decision making related to diagnostic testing and the initiation and evaluation of effectiveness of therapeutic regimens.
