Math Center

The Math Center, located in Loyola 105, promotes a supportive and inclusive learning environment to help students reduce anxiety about learning mathematics, and help students improve their mathematical skills to become confident and independent learners. The Math Center at Immaculata is staffed by professional, faculty, and student tutors, who have demonstrated excellent skills in math, and are trained to guide students through the learning process, from basic concepts to abstract thinking. The Math Center also has tutorial software and review packets on topics ranging from algebra to calculus, with numerous examples, and practice problems with answers. Students can schedule an individual appointment, recurring appointment, or simply walk in for any math support needs.

Writing Center

The Writing Center, located in the Gabriele Library on the main floor, is committed to helping students develop the skills to be confident, well-informed writers through individualized, one-on-one writing support in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Staffed by professional and peer-led Writing Assistants, the Writing Center offers all students support during any stage of the writing process, including brainstorming, outlining, and drafting and revising. Support is available both in-person and virtually, and students can choose to meet one-on-one or submit their work for independent review. Students can schedule an appointment in-person or online on the Writing Center website.
