Orientation
The purpose of New Student Orientation at Immaculata University is to empower students with a sense of confidence; introduce them to our traditions; encourage them participate in student programs, leadership opportunities, service, and scholarship. Our fun and engaging orientation provides students with the opportunity to expand intellectually and socially in a nurturing environment.
Students can expect the following outcomes from active participation in the New Student Orientation:
- Students will gain a sense of familiarity and comfort with the University through interaction with fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration;
- Students will learn about the expectations of the University regarding academic responsibility, tradition, community service, and leadership;
- Students will experience all facets of campus life including academics, campus resources, social and extra-curricular activities and will begin to find their place in the Immaculata community;
- Students will have the opportunity to meet advisors
- Family members and guests of students will have the opportunity to engage with members of the IU community and gain an understanding of the adjustments students face in their transition to college.
