Orientation
The purpose of New Student Orientation in the College of Undergraduate Studies at Immaculata University is to empower students with a sense of confidence; introduce them to our traditions; encourage them participate in student programs, leadership opportunities, service, and scholarship. Our fun and engaging orientation provides students with the opportunity to expand intellectually and socially in a nurturing environment.
Students can expect the following outcomes from active participation in the New Student Orientation:
- Students will gain a sense of familiarity and comfort with the University through interaction with fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration;
- Students will learn about the expectations of the University regarding academic responsibility, tradition, community service, and leadership;
- Students will experience all facets of campus life including academics, campus resources, social and extra-curricular activities and will begin to find their place in the Immaculata community;
- Students will have the opportunity to meet advisors
- Family members will have the opportunity to engage with members of the IU community and gain an understanding of the adjustments students face in their transition to college.
