Residence Life and Housing focuses on community development and civility, growth of individual students, and promotion of academic success through collaboration with members of the campus and local community.
Students living in Immaculata University’s all-inclusive housing environment can excel in academics and focus on life goals. University housing provides IU students with an academic advantage and enriches their experience beyond the classroom.
Core Competencies:
- Develops students on all levels – intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, culturally, socially, and physically – within a residential community committed to the mission of University;
- Facilitates a holistic undergraduate student experience outside of the classroom, with services focused on the specific needs of resident students;
- Develops the community to include and integrate students with faculty, staff, administration, and friends of IU;
- Educates students about community living and learning, their personal impact on the community, and their individual responsibility and how this relates to their citizenship in the local, national, and global community;
- Upholds standards of behavior and facilitate the characteristics of an effective community member.
